 Kunle has over 21 years of technical, financial & management experience in the international and West African energy sector.

At Àrgentil, he has successfully advised small to mid-cap E&P companies on the acquisition of Oil & Gas assets in excess of US$4bn. He also led the advisory team on the listing of an indigenous E&P company on a “Tier 1” international stock exchange.

Before Àrgentil, he was with Inter Pipeline Fund in Calgary, Canada where he was integral to the valuation, structuring and financing of over US$10 billion transactions.

At KBC Technologies, also in Canada, he was involved in the development of simulation/modelling software for oil refineries.

Kunle holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria; a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wales, United Kingdom, and a Masters degree in Business Administration from Queen’s School of Business, Ontario, Canada.

 

 

 

Olumide Ogunfowora

Olu has over 22 years of experience in the International and West African upstream, midstream, and power generation sectors.

At Àrgentil, Olu has played a key role in various corporate finance transactions, asset valuations and merger & acquisition  opportunities in the West African exploration and production, natural gas pipeline and independent power sectors.

Prior to Àrgentil, he was with Inter Pipeline Fund, Calgary, Canada where he managed various commercial, commodity hedging and business development functions in the NGL business. He has also previously worked in various commercial and corporate roles with TransCanada Pipelines, Enron Corporation, Edison Mission Energy and Williams Energy.

Olu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria and a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Calgary, Canada. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.

 

 

 

Gbenga Hassan

Gbenga has extensive private equity and corporate finance experience in the international and West African markets, spanning over 19 years.

He has played a leading role in Àrgentil vis-à-vis the origination and execution of Power, Gas and Infrastructure deals valued in excess of US$2bn. He also co-manages Àrgentil’s principal investment activities.

He was previously with Aureos Capital where he originated and executed private equity transactions in Nigeria and Standard Bank / Stanbic Nigeria as Corporate Finance Manager. He also worked at Syntegra, a Consultancy and Systems Integration business of British Telecom before moving to Standard Bank in London as Manager of Finance Projects.

Gbenga holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Business Management from the University of Greenwich, and a Masters degree in Economics and Management from the University College, London. He is also a Chartered Certified Accountant in the UK (FCCA) and Nigeria (ACA).

 

 

 

Femi Oladehin

Femi has over 22 years of accounting, financial advisory, corporate finance, principal investment and project finance experience in the international and West African markets.

His responsibility in Àrgentil spans business origination and execution in the firm’s Oil & Gas and Energy projects. He has advised on transactions in excess of US$1bn, including the sale of a downstream marketing business valued at US$400m; a US$150m transportation business as well as a US$100m real estate development in Sierra Leone.

Prior to joining Àrgentil, he was Managing Director/CEO of BGL Plc’s Investment Banking Group. Before then, he was Senior Banker with Rand Merchant Bank, where he worked with the bank’s Investment Banking, Project & Infrastructure Finance team; leading the bank’s foray into West Africa. Femi also worked as Head & Director of  Stanbic Bank’s Project & Structured Finance Group before joining RMB.

Femi holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Benin, Nigeria. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
